Closing the calendar year in Accounts Payable is an important step to ensure accurate records and compliance with reporting requirements. Join us for this training to review best practices, understand SmartFusion’s year-end tools, and prepare for a smooth close. During this session, we will focus on the following:
Flagging and processing accruals so expenses are recorded in the correct fiscal year.
Generating, reviewing, and printing vendor 1099s, including applying minimum dollar thresholds.
Using Accounts Payable reports to verify vendor payment histories and reconcile outstanding items before year-end.
Maintaining strong cash control through the Bank Reconciliation interface.
Applying SmartFusion best practices to avoid common errors during year-end processing.
